Registration underway for 2009-10 school year

Registration is underway for the 2009-10 school year at Capital One-University of New Orleans Charter Network schools. The UNO Charter Network operates Pierre A. Capdau Charter School, Medard H. Nelson Charter School, Gentilly Terrace Elementary and Pierre A. Capdau Early College High School.

Registration applications for classes beginning in August are available at each school’s site during the hours of 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. The deadline for returning registration applications is April 16, 2009.

Parents must provide the following:

• birth certificate
• immunization records
• social security card
• proof of residency (2 items)(*)

(*) proof of residency - for example, Entergy bill, Sewerage and Water Board bill, voter registration card, or driver’s license.
