Capital One has provided financial and human capital support to the New Beginnings Charter Schools since 2006. Capital One employees serve on our board of directors, work directly with parent and volunteer groups to build new playgrounds, redesign libraries, paint classrooms and hallways, and landscape school grounds. At the beginning of each school year Capital One employees raise money for new school supplies and are present to greet parents and students.
Capital One was honored as a 2009 Distinguished Partner in Education by the Louisiana Department of Education.
